BLACK SHEEP CONSULTANTS
How we keep our guidance reliable
Evidence before assertion
Our public guidance explains process and document preparation. It does not invent facts, promise outcomes or turn an allegation into a finding. Where a rule depends on the precise decision or jurisdiction, the guide says so.
Source hierarchy
We prioritise legislation, statutory guidance, official policies, regulator and Ombudsman material, and published decisions. Commentary is used to explain, not replace, the underlying source.
Dates and changing rules
Guides display a review date. Public-body policies and procedural rules can change; readers should obtain the version applying on the date of their decision and verify current deadlines.
Regulatory boundaries
Black Sheep Consultants is not a firm of solicitors. Content is general information and evidence-led complaint support, not a substitute for legal, clinical, immigration, tax or other regulated advice. We identify where an authorised specialist is needed.
Corrections
If a material error is identified, email cases@blacksheepconsultants.com with the page, statement and supporting source. We will review the point and correct the page where appropriate.
